UCLA joins elected officials, community leaders and students gathered to celebrate the success of the ongoing partnership between the university and Downtown Magnets High School, one of approximately 80 schools in the L.A. area served by UCLA’s Early Academic Outreach Program and other UCLA college-readiness programs. International Institute IT team designs internal web-crawler program to search UCLA websites for data on international programs, work and events in order to better tell the story of UCLA’s global engagement.
Two new Global Award programs are developed, approved and funded: The Global Research Award Program aims to advance globally engaged research; the Global Education Award Program aims to internationalize UCLA’s curricula. Applications for the awards will be accepted starting January 2025.
