UCLA in the Community

A Faculty Advisory Committee is established for the proposed new Quarter in LA program that is slated to begin in spring 2025. Members are Dana Cuff, Todd Presner, Nick Shapiro, Bharat Venkat and Marques Vestal.

Eric Avila appointed faculty director of Quarter in L.A. program, overseeing the development of a new undergrad program combining study of L.A. with internships in students’ fields of interest.

Community Engagement Advisors Network is appointed to serve as a cross-campus network of faculty scholars who will connect UCLA’s efforts in community engagement.
